Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Web4BIS Users

To enhance the security of your Web4BIS account, its mandatory that all users enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when logging in. MFA provides an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access.

🖥️ What is MFA?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) provides an additional layer of security for your Web4BIS account.

MFA combines two authentication methods:

  1. Your email and password

  2. A one-time verification code from an authenticator each time you log in

📱Authenticator Options

  1. Authenticator app on your smartphone (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator)

  2. Authenticator browser plugin

  1. Go to Documents→ Siemens ID authentication in the grey top bar.
